Commemorating the 225th Anniversary of the Constitutional Convention and Ratification 1787-88 - 2012-13


2012 marks the 225th anniversary of the Constitutional Convention, as well as the beginning of the ratification of the Constitution, which continued into 1788.  The Constitutional Convention was called into session on May 25, 1787, and Gen. George Washington was elected President of the Convention.
